Greetings from Grace Bible Fellowship in Jenison, MI.
We have just spent the month of June studying Spiritual Gifts, including their purpose and impact within our church and the Body of Christ. It is great be amongst a church family that is seeking to serve up their gifts to God and one another.
This summer GBF was able to join many West Michigan churches (including Rush Creek BC and Frontline Bible) to learn and support KidsGames. KidsGames is a faith-based movement using experiential games, sports and creative giftedness to teach children (entering 1-6 grades) character through Biblical principles, wellness education & prevention, and develop the next generation of youth leadership. It has been a blessing to work with so many other local church leaders in preparation and just recently throughout the week of KidsGames. Together we were able to lead children through Bible stories, games, sports, crafts and so much more with the focus of sharing the gospel with over 400 kids throughout the week. Many of our church members joined to lead throughout the morning as well as in the various “Tracks” (workshop hour). It is great to be a part of, and feel a sense of unity within sister churches in Regions 9 and 10.
We are excited to continue serving in word and deed.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of Hod, If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. ~ 1 Peter 4:10-11
