This past Saturday Rush Creek hosted its annual Winter Carnival! It is an awesome event focused on outdoor winter activities, which this year included: Ice-fishing, four-wheeling, horse riding, sled dog demos, snow forts, and a BB gun shooting range! We started off the day with a great pancake breakfast, had a chili cook off for lunch, and finished it off with a pie-eating contest for dessert. For this year’s event we decided to go all out and we included some indoor activities for the afternoon because not everyone likes to stay out in the cold the entire day and we don’t blame them! So inside the church we offered crafts, carnival games, and some huge inflatables! Overall the day was an awesome success as we saw more than 300 people join us for the event, many of which were new families that had no affiliation with Rush Creek. What a wonderful time of fellowship with our congregation and the community. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers who worked so hard on this event! Can’t wait for next year!!
