Greetings from Community Bible Church in Tipp City, Ohio.
There have been a lot of exciting things happen since we shared last.
We were blessed to have GMI missionary Brook Seekins home with us the first half of the year. While here, she did a lot of traveling and reported to many other churches concerning her ministry in Tanzania. We praise the Lord for the encouraging time she was able spend with us and that she has now arrived safely home in Tanzania to finalize preparations for summer camps.
In January, Community Bible Church voted in David Daugherty as the new associate pastor.
There has been some new construction going on internally as we strive to improve our facilities for the local body. The most recent is the location of our nursery. We are currently in the process of moving it to a larger more easily accessible room. We hope to encourage young parents to grow in God’s word by providing a safe, healthy, and loving environment for their children to grow in.
As we look to the summer ahead we have three huge outreach opportunities on the horizon. The first one coming up is Vacation Bible School which will be the last week of July. The Miami Co Fair is also a fun time as we team up with CEF and share the gospel. Then bringing the summer to a close is the Tipp City Mum Festival Sept 25th-27th. This year we will expand from two sites to three giving us even more room to present the gospel to all who come. Please pray that we will be able present it clearly and simply and that God would receive honor, glory, and praise!
