Name: Matthew Amundsen
Profession: Executive Director, Grace Gospel Fellowship
Why I serve on the National Council: Ever since I was a teenager the Lord has impressed on my heart the desire to serve Him in ministry. It is blessing to be part of a fellowship of pastors and churches that are passionate about the Gospel of God’s Grace and living it out by loving God and loving people!
My Favorite Verse: Isaiah 41:10
Short Bio: I was raised under tremendous leaders at Berean Bible Church in Shoreline, WA and their encouragement and direction affirmed what the Lord had been stirring in my heart. From there I attended Grace Bible College and graduated in 1997.
From that point on I served as Youth Pastor alongside great pastors and friends at Northwest Bible Church in Enumclaw, WA (1999-2007) and Parkside Bible Church in Holland, MI (2007-2016). Before stepping into the Executive Director role, I served 7 years on the Grace Gospel Fellowship National Council as Youth Ministry Chairman and most recently as the Chairman of the Council.
My wife Sharon and I met at Grace Bible College and have been married for 20 years. We have 3 amazing children; Jerimiah, Levi, and Kamea. We live in Holland, Michigan and enjoy the diverse community God has blessed us with.
