New additions at www.ggfusa.org

Welcome to the Grace Gospel Fellowship website.  The GGF desires to be relevant in our service to you – whether you are a pastor or church member.  The positive feedback we have received from our recent changes has been encouraging and has led us to include some new features.

Prokope is a forum for pastors and their wives moderated by Pastor Jeff Schimp.  To access this forum, simply register on the website and request access from Cindy.  You will then be able to locate the forum under the “News and Info” link on the side menu.

Has your secretary relocated to another city?  Is your church looking for a youth or children’s minister?  Are you looking for resumes to fill a pastoral vacancy?  The new Classified Ads postings are open to all GGF churches that would like to make known their church employment needs.

You have probably noticed that brochures for both our Pastors’ Conference (April 15-17) and the Family Bible Conference (July 1-4) now are available as PDF downloads.  We have received requests from those who desire to register on-line, and we hope to have this feature available in the future.

Also, please make sure you check out our links.  Though the ministry of the GGF is directed toward Grace Churches and organizations in the USA, we do have affiliated ministries that work overseas.  If you have questions regarding ministry opportunities abroad, please contact those organizations.

 In His grace,

Frosty Hansen

Why Bible conferences are important Print E-mail
Latest GGF News

Family Bible Conferences are for the whole family!

Reading the trade magazines and hearing from conference planning professionals, one would rightly conclude that the future of conferences in general is a bleak one. We disagree, especially when looking closely at the reasons for having a Bible teaching, Worship centered, Christian themed conference. In coming together and fellowshipping in a conference setting members of the Body of Christ exemplify the basic tenets of their bond in the Spirit. We encourage our readers to keep this in mind.

What can you do to ensure the future of Bible conferences? First of all, attend. Grace conferences around the nation average around 300 in attendance. The product (talking shop now) that GGF turns out could easily attract 3,000. If you currently attend, you know that to be true. So, promote. Start now and set as your goal getting at least one more family from your church to register and go to next year’s conference. Finally, support the GGF leadership and organization through your prayers and financial giving.

Although planning and putting on conferences is a fraction of GGF’s ministry it does require full-time individuals and many devoted volunteers. There are hidden costs, which require funds above and beyond the registration fees. GGF will endeavor to keep all expenses reasonable. All savings negotiated with vendors are passed on to attendees. We have so much more to offer your family than the typical summer vacation; a rewarding, meaningful time in the Word for the entire family in an enjoyable, viable family setting. We challenge you to make it a family tradition.
