Position Description



Title: Director of Children’s Ministry


Description: The Directory of Children’s Ministries would be responsible for the development and administration of Lifetrak Community Church’s Children’s Ministries Department (nursery, pre-school, K-5).

Goal: Create an environment in which children learn, have fun and are safe.


Scope: Create an exciting Sunday morning Kingdom Kids ministry (ages pre-school through grade 6) using arts, music, drama, puppets, stories and any other available curriculum.

** Plan occasional special outings with this group.

** Possibly oversee the administration of a Kid’s Wednesday night ministry as far as teacher/leader/helper staffing (not currently in place).

Specific Responsibilities are listed on page two. Some of these will have to wait for the church to grow into.

Educational Requirements. Gifts and passion for ministering to kids. A degree in Elementary Education is a plus but not required.

Compensation. Current: Volunteer. We would like to have this become a paid position as the ministry grows.

Our Ministry: We are re-organizing an existing church into a new church to reach our community.
